Recruitment Training

This training session will focus on recruiting adults and the methods used to engage, staff and follow up enquiries from such events.

The key points of this evening will be:

• Look at different types of events and how we can pitch ourselves for them
• How to build an effective showcase / stand
• Understand how we structure staffing at events to get the best results
• Understand the resources we may use at these events
• Look at key conversations and how we engage people
• Basics of body language and Non-verbal communication
• Managing enquiries and what we promise after the enquiry.

This event is recommended for anyone involved in recruiting potential adult volunteers, or attending events showcasing the work that volunteers can or could undertake by joining Scouting as a volunteer.
