Rock City Bouldering

Come and use the fantastic bouldering facilities at Rock City for a exclusive discounted price!

Rock City are offering 3 evenings in July for Scouts & Explorers in Humberside County to come and use their amazing bouldering facilities for an exclusive discounted price!

Alongside the Scouts and Explorers bouldering, highly experienced staff from Rock City will be available for Leaders from all Sections, to come and have a tour of the centre and find out how they can bring their Section to join in the adventure too.

Members of the County Team will also be there each evening to answer any queries you have around permits and to take feedback.

Bookings

There is a limit of 15 Young People per evening and spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis. To secure spaces for your Young People you will need to email a completed booking form to programme@humbersidescouts.org.uk

Price

Rock City are giving Humberside County a discounted price of £5.00 per person for these evenings. This includes adults that are supervising as they can have a go too!

Requirements

Please ensure you have read and can meet the requirements below before booking your places.

Scouts (aged 10 - 14 years old):
  • Need a ratio of 1:4 adults who will sign the young people in to the centre to say they will be responsible for them throughout your session. 
  • Scouts can use the following bouldering areas; The Space Room, The Castle Room, The Slab Lab and La Cantina.
Explorers (aged 14 - 17 years old):
  • Normal Scouting adult ratios apply for the session. 
  • Need to complete this online waiver form before arriving at the centre: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/w/59fb663e2c5f7/web/ 
    This will allow them to use the bouldering walls unsupervised with the necessary parental consent. However Leaders may go in with them too and join in the fun!
  • Explorers can use all the bouldering areas.
