Sailing Dates for 2015

Humberside Scouts Water Activities Team are pleased to advise the Cub, Scout and Explorers sections that the following dates are available for sailing taster sessions to be held at Welton Waters Sailing Club in 2015.

• April 25th
• May 16th
• May 23rd
• June 13th
• July 4th
• July 18th

We offer a taster sailing experience for the above three sections for up to 10 young people. Younger members can learn to crew a sailing dinghy with an experienced, and Scout authorised instructor, at the helm.

Older members can learn to crew as above and also learn to sail on their own in one of our smaller “Mirror” class dinghies.  Sessions are all on Saturdays and are on a first come first served basis.

Finally Scout Leaders and supporters and their families are invited to a taster session to be run a the club on the 20th June as part of Welton Sailing Club’s own “New members open day”.  Bookings for this session are essential and again please contact Andrew for details.
