Parents and Carers are vital to Scouting in so many ways, so it is often nice to say thank you to them for their continued support.

Mothering Sunday is on 11th March 2018 and this would be a lovely time to thank all those with a mothering role in your young people's families by holding a Tea Party or similar event.

Your Section could work in teams to organise different aspects of the event such as; catering team, waiters and waitresses, decorating team etc.

Adapting for each Section

Beavers and Cubs will need a lot more support with structuring the event and organising things such as locations, equipment and invitations.

The older Sections could use this as practise for organising events such as camps and trips. They will have to think about every detail to ensure nothing is missed.
