County Fellowship Adviser

My name is Stephen Bennett and I am the new ACC Fellowship Advisor. I’ve been involved in Scouting for the last 25 years. Initially I was a Scout Leader for 14 years and spent the latter part of my Scouting career with the Grimsby and Cleethorpes Fellowship.

In my role as ACC Fellowship Advisor I aim to achieve the following:-

To increase the membership of the fellowship by including younger members. In particular those leaving the Network and looking to continue their active roles in Scouting.

To show that young people with busy lives can stay involved in Scouting and enjoy the social aspects through a thriving and active Fellowship.

• The Fellowship is often fondly thought of as a rest home for old Scouters that have been put out to grass but it doesn’t have to be that way. With the right attitude and drive we can make it a great team that everyone wants to be a part of.
