DESCRIPTION:Date: Sunday 5th April 2026 – Monday 6th April 2026\nLocation: The Deep\, Hull — the UK’s only sub-marium\nTime: 6:00pm to 8:00am (overnight event)\nWho can attend: Squirrels\, Beavers & Cubs \nThe evening includes: \n\nGuided tour\nCrafts\nTalks about The Deep\nOvernight stay\nBreakfast in the morning\n\nCosts / What’s Included \nYoung People: £38.75 \nVolunteers / Young Leaders (not doing craft): £12.50  \nIncludes: \n\nSleepover\nBreakfast\nGuided tour\nTalks\nCraft activity\nNew badge for 2026!\n\nRatios & Adult Requirements \n\nMinimum ratio for your section: Squirrels – 1 adult : 4 young people\, Beavers & Cubs – 1 adult : 6 young people\nAll adults must have:\n\nUp-to-date DBS check recorded on The Scouts Membership System\nCompleted safety and safeguarding learning\n\n\n\nBooking Information \nTo book\, email: events@humbersidescouts.org.uk with the following information: \n\nGroup name\nGroup name on Online Scout Manager for event sharing\nNumber of young people (approximate numbers for now)\nNumber of non-participating Young Leaders (approximate numbers for now)\nNumber of volunteers (approximate numbers for now)\n\nPayment & Booking Rules \n\nPayments are non-refundable\nBooking confirmed only after deposit is paid\nDeposit of £10 per young person must be paid within 10 days of invoice being sent or places are released\nFull payment due: 25th March 2026\nCancellations after 15th March are still charged in full\nPlaces are allocated on a first come\, first served\nMaximum capacity: 165 people total (young people + volunteers)\n\nAdditional Information \n\nNights Away Notifications\n\nHumberside County will submit one NAN for all sections attending and Risk Assessments will be shared with groups.\n\n\nDBS / Learning Requirements\n\nAll adults must:\n\nBe recorded on NAN forms\nHave valid DBS\nHave completed safety & safeguarding modules\n\n\n\n\nRisk Assessments\n\nA Master RA will be provided in March 2026\nGroups must create their own for:\n\nTransport to/from the event\nAny activities they run themselves\n\n\n\n\nPayment Method\n\nInvoices sent after booking\nPayments via Bank transfer or Cheque \n\n\n\nAccessibility \nThe Deep is well equipped for young people with additional needs.\nMore info is available here : https://www.thedeep.co.uk/visit/accessibility
