DESCRIPTION:Mix It. Make It. Taste It.\nOur Squirrels are heading into the kitchen for a fun-filled Super Chef Badge Day. \nThis hands-on event is designed to help young people complete their Super Chef badge while learning simple\, safe and practical cooking skills. It’s all about building confidence\, trying new foods and having a go. \nAprons on. Hands washed. Let’s get cooking. \nWhat They’ll Be Doing\nThroughout the day\, Squirrels will work through activities linked directly to their Super Chef badge criteria\, including: \n– Learning basic kitchen safety and hygiene\n– Preparing simple ingredients\n– Making easy\, healthy recipes\n– Exploring different flavours and food groups\n– Tasting and talking about the food they’ve made \nAll activities are age-appropriate and carefully supervised by experienced volunteers\, with safety at the centre of everything we do. \nWhy It Matters\nThe Super Chef badge helps Squirrels to: \n– Build independence\n– Develop fine motor skills\n– Learn about healthy eating\n– Gain confidence trying new things\n– Work together and share fairly \nBy the end of the day\, they’ll have made progress towards their badge and discovered that cooking can be both fun and rewarding. \nTo book onto the event\, please complete the following form: Squirrels Super Chef Activity Badge Day – Fill out form
