What does an Assessor do?

Assessors check on a young person’s progress and agree the completion of a section of their programme. You’ll need knowledge of the activity they’re doing and approve their progress and pictures in eDofE.

Who can participate in this event?

This is for those leaders with proven technical competence in the terrain in which they wish to assess, who have a good understanding of the scheme and are willing to be part of a county wide assessors team.

Qualification / Validation

This is nationally accredited training which involves a one day course and a supervised assessment.
