Programme Spark

Chinese New Year takes place on Friday 16th February this year and 2018 is the Year of the Dog.

Celebrate this international festival with your Section using some of these suggestions:

  • Cook and taste traditional Chinese food.
  • Make a Chinese lantern.
  • Create a Chinese Dragon and perform a dragon dance.
  • Have a go at some origami.
  • Learn to speak some Chinese, including their Scout Promise.
  • Indoor Dragon Boating. 
  • Along with anything else you can think of.
