October 16 @ 7:00 pm - October 18 @ 1:00 pm
£15
JOTA/JOTI Weekend

Connecting Scouts Across the World

Our JOTA-JOTI event brings the world of Scouting together.

Jamboree on the Air (JOTA) and Jamboree on the Internet (JOTI) give young people the chance to connect with Scouts from across the globe using radio and digital communication. It’s international Scouting in action — without leaving Humberside.

This is your opportunity to speak, message and share experiences with Scouts from different countries, cultures and communities.

What to Expect

During the event, young people will:

– Use amateur radio to speak with Scouts around the world
– Connect online through safe, moderated platforms
– Learn about global Scouting and international traditions
– Take part in communication challenges and team activities
– Develop digital awareness and communication skills

Experienced volunteers will support every station, ensuring a safe, structured and engaging experience for all sections taking part.

JOTA-JOTI helps young people to:

– Build confidence speaking to new people
– Develop communication skills
– Gain a wider understanding of the world
– Experience the international spirit of Scouting

It’s a powerful reminder that Scouts are part of something bigger.

Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network and Adult Volunteers can attend for the day – Saturday 17th October. Day visitors are £10 each, with Squirrels being £6 each.

Scouts, Explorers, Network and Adult Volunteers have the option of making it a weekend event and staying from Friday 16th October – Sunday 18th October. Campers are £15 per young person. Groups will need to add extra fees on for food for the weekend and sort their own food.

Each YP attending will receive the official 2026 JOTA JOTI badge. Any adults attending can order a badge for £1.80 each – please order on the booking form.

This event also covers parts of other badges – Communicator, World, International – please look at your specific section to see what else it can cover.
