Join Humberside Scouts as we head to the nation’s capital for Monopoly Run Live—the country’s largest Monopoly-themed event!

Transform the streets of London into a massive live board game alongside 9,000+ Scouts and Guides from across the UK. Using a bespoke mobile app, your team will race against the clock to visit iconic landmarks, explore the city, and build essential #SkillsForLife.

📅 The Weekend at a Glance (March 5th–7th, 2027)

Friday, March 5th | Travel & Arrival

  • Departure: From 17:30 via comfortable coach (2–3 local pick-up points TBD based on numbers).
  • Basecamp: Indoor accommodation at the South London Scout Centre in Dulwich.
  • Late Arrival: Settle in and get a good night’s sleep before the main event

 

  • Saturday, March 6th | Game Day & West End Evening
  • Morning: Early rise, breakfast, and train into Central London.
  • The Run: Form teams of 3 to 7 (with your unit or friends across the county) and conquer the game board!
  • Support: The Humberside Events Team will be on the ground all day providing check-ins, monitoring progress, and offering support.
  • Evening: Celebrate after the event with free time to explore and shop in London’s West End, followed by dinner and rest at basecamp.

 

  • Sunday, March 7th | Sightseeing & Head Home
  • Morning: Pack up, load the coach, and head into Central London.
  • Attraction Visit: Start the day at a major landmark or museum (got ideas? Let us know!).
  • Free Time: More sightseeing, shopping, or grabbing lunch.
  • Departure: Meet at 14:00 to board the coach and head back home.

💷 Cost & What’s Included

  • Price: Estimated between £125 and £150 per person (final cost TBC, capped at £150 maximum).
  • All-Inclusive Package Covers:
  • 🚌 Transport: Return coach travel from Humberside & Sunday London transport.
  • 🏠 Accommodation: 2 nights at South London Scout Centre (Dulwich).
  • 🍽️ Meals: Breakfast (Sat & Sun) and Saturday Evening Dinner.
  • 🎟️ Event Entry: Monopoly Run Live registration + exclusive commemorative badge.
  • 🏛️ Activities: Entry fees and travel for all planned group trips (West End & Sunday attraction).

🎒 What Participants Need to Bring

  • Lunches: Packed lunch or money to purchase lunch on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Travel Card: Contactless card or Oyster card for TfL (Tube/Bus) travel (estimate ≤ £10/day).
  • A complete kit list and final travel itinerary will be sent out closer to the date.

📝 How to Book

Spaces are strictly limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis!

For Explorers:

  • Step 1: Let your Unit Leader know you want to attend!
  • Step 2: Unit Leaders should email events@humbersidescouts.org.uk to request an Online Scout Manager (OSM) event link so parents/Explorers can register.

ℹ️ Note for Leaders: Unit leaders do not need to attend. A fully vetted Humberside Events Team will provide complete supervision all weekend. (If leaders do wish to volunteer, a limited number of adult places may be available—contact us to enquire!)

For Network Members & Adult Volunteers:

  • Please fill out our Interest Registration Form. We will reach out with tailored pricing options based on your preferred travel and accommodation arrangements.

⏰ Key Payment Dates & Terms

  • Deposit: £25 per person required upon booking to secure your spot.
  • Crucial November Deadline: We must lock in our event places in early November 2026. No cancellations or refunds can be issued after this date, and full payment will be required.
  • Final Balance Due: February 15th, 2027.
