Archery Permit Training Weekend

Do you see yourself as the next Robin Hood?

Are you interested in becoming an Archery instructor?

We're looking to increase the number of people with Archery Permits across the County and invite you to join us on our Archery Permit training weekend.

Cost

The cost to members in Humberside is covered by the County Activities Team, however, please note that non- attenders will be invoiced i£10 per person f the place cannot be filled.

Non Humberside members are welcome to attend and will need to pay £10 to cover the cost of the handbook.

All participants will receive an archery handbook. 

Requirements

Candidates must attend the full weekend.

On arrival please meet at the archery range

Please arrive promptly.

Format

Day 1 and the first part of Day 2 – archery theory and practice

Latter part of Day 2 – assessment for those who reach the required standard

Equipment needed

Notebook and pen.

Archery equipment will be provided

Dress

Non – uniform. No baggy clothing

Course is delivered indoor and outdoor so suitable outdoor wear and footwear and change of footwear for indoors

Food

Drinks and biscuits will be provided. Bring packed lunch for Saturday and Sunday

Preparation

Read Scout Association rules and fact sheets for archery

Accommodation

There may be an option to stay over, please request before attending.
