Keeping the runners going

5th Beverley Wesley Scout Group were out in the sunshine supporting the Beverley 10K, helping keep runners hydrated as they took on the course.

With 4km completed and 6km still to go, the team were ready with drinks, encouragement and plenty of cheers for everyone passing by.

Teamwork on the route

Events like Beverley 10K are a great reminder of how Scouts get stuck into their local communities. Whether it’s lending a hand, supporting a public event or cheering people on, volunteers and young people help make days like this run smoothly.

A big cheer for every runner

The group brought a positive attitude and plenty of energy to the route, giving runners an extra boost as they continued their challenge.

Well done to everyone who took part, and thank you to the Scouts and volunteers who helped support the event.
