Growing Skills at 1st Keelby

Cubs, Beavers and Scouts at 1st Keelby have been back at the allotment this week, getting stuck into another practical outdoor session.

There was plenty to do, from clearing beds and uncovering wild flowers to discovering bugs and even digging up carrots along the way.

Hands-On Outdoor Learning

The young people worked together to help look after the allotment, learning more about growing, nature and the small habitats that can be found in outdoor spaces.

It was a great chance to build practical skills, explore the natural world and understand how regular care helps green spaces thrive.

Teamwork in Action

Sessions like this are a brilliant example of Scouts at its best: being active outdoors, taking responsibility and making a positive difference through teamwork.

Well done to the Cubs, Beavers and Scouts at 1st Keelby for their hard work and can-do attitude.
