Help shape the refreshed Explorer Programme
Explorer Units across Humberside are being invited to help trial the brand-new Democracy Activity Badge before the refreshed Explorer Programme launches this summer.
This is a great opportunity for Explorers and volunteer teams to have a say in how the final badge works, while taking part in activities that explore voice, choice and decision-making.
What’s involved
Units will complete one or two simple activities over the next four weeks, then fill in a short survey to share their feedback with HQ.
Activities may include:
- exploring how democracy works
- taking part in a local decision-making forum
- helping others understand how they can have a voice
Why it matters
Explorer Scouts have an important part to play in shaping the future of the programme. By testing this badge, Units can help make sure the final version is useful, engaging and ready for Explorers across the UK.
Even completing one activity can make a real difference.
