2027 marks 120 years of Scouting, and we want YOU to help us celebrate by designing a special commemorative badge for Humberside Scouts!

Since 1907, Scouting has been bringing young people together, creating adventures, building friendships and helping them develop skills for life. Now, 120 years later, we’re getting ready to celebrate this incredible milestone – and what better way than with a badge designed by one of our own young people?

We’re launching a 120 Years of Scouting Badge Design Competition, open to young people from every Section across Humberside, from Squirrels right through to Network.

Get Creative!

We want you to design a badge that celebrates 120 years of Scouting. Whether you take inspiration from our history, the adventures we enjoy today or what Scouting means to you, we’d love to see your ideas!

Your design can be hand-drawn or created digitally, but remember that the winning entry will need to be turned into an embroidered badge, so bold, simple designs work best.

There are just a few rules to follow, which you can find on the PDF download below.

Your Design Could Be Worn Across Humberside!

The winning design will be transformed into a real commemorative badge for members across Humberside Scouts to wear on their uniforms throughout our anniversary celebrations.

Just imagine seeing your design worn by hundreds of Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts, Explorers, Network members and volunteers across the County!

And that’s not all – there will also be a prize for the winning designer!
