There’s no “quiet weekend” when North Lincolnshire Squirrels and Beavers are in town! This past weekend, the District descended upon Gulliver’s Valley for an action-packed sleepover that was—quite literally—the stuff of dreams.

Bringing together so many of our youngest members from across the District, the event was a brilliant showcase of what Scouting is all about: friendship, trying new things, and (most importantly) having a huge amount of fun!

A Jam-Packed Itinerary

From the moment they arrived, the Squirrels and Beavers were on the go. The “To-Do” list was legendary:

  • Scooter Safari: Zooming around and exploring the site.
  • Campfire Classics: Toasting marshmallows to gooey perfection.
  • Disco Fever: Burning off that final bit of energy on the dance floor.
  • Rise & Shine: A morning workout to get everyone ready for the big day ahead.
  • Team Power: Inflatables and team-building games that proved our North Lincs Scouts are the ultimate teammates.

Theme Park Takeover

After a night of sleeping over with their friends, the adventure didn’t stop there. The groups spent the entire next day exploring the theme park’s many attractions. From the rides to the interactive play areas, the smiles were big and the memories were even bigger.

We have a feeling there will be some very quiet car journeys home and some very tired Squirrels and Beavers tonight—but what an incredible way to build #SkillsForLife!
