We’re delighted to share, on behalf of Scout HQ, that applications are now open for the Scouts of the World Award (SOWA) Expedition to India for both Participants and Leaders.
This exciting international opportunity gives Scout Network members the chance to complete their Scouts of the World Award while making a meaningful impact by helping address housing poverty in India alongside the charity Habitat for Humanity.
An Opportunity for Network Members
The expedition provides a unique blend of international travel, personal development, community action, and cultural exchange. Participants will work alongside local communities while developing valuable leadership, teamwork, and global citizenship skills.
Calling Adult Volunteers
Adult volunteers from across Humberside are also encouraged to apply. Individuals who are passionate about supporting Network members, helping young people develop new skills, and delivering a high-quality international experience, would be ideal for this opportunity.
