Scouting Trustees Networking Event

Scouting Trustees Networking Event

Sunday, 3rd November 2019
10am-2pm

The County Executive committee are to host an inaugural Trustee Networking event for all District Key Officers and Trustees.

Following feedback from the District Commissioners, the County Executive committee are to host an inaugural Trustee Networking event for all District Key Officers and Trustees.

What is it about?

The event is not a formal training event as such, but a forum for Trustees to come together and share best practice and any concerns. Being a Trustee can often be a lonely and difficult role, that seldom gives the opportunity to meet other likeminded people. We are hoping to change this. Trustee networking may assist in generating new ideas, gaining a greater insight and knowledge of the role, building your confidence and gaining different perspectives.

At the event

We plan to have a number of pertinent discussion topics including risk management, Group financial auditing, Agenda and meeting planning, Trustee skills auditing etc. If you have a topic that affects you and would like to add it to our discussion topics, please send them to: tony.lyon@humbersidescouts.org.uk for inclusion at the meeting.

So why not come along to Raywell Park on Sunday 3rd November at 10.00am and share your thoughts….

Bookings and Refreshments

You can fill in the form below to let us know that you're coming. There's no charge for the event. Refreshments and lunch will be providing.

Looking beyond the event

We are also considering creating a closed social media group to facilitate easier communications between Trustees. We would like to know if this would be a welcome additional support tool?
