COVID-19 Adaptations
Large scale events are currently not able to be run in person, such as Jamborees or County/District Camps.
However, a lot of these large events are being held online instead. This means that young people can still take part in an adapted programmes from home.
As a County we will be hosting some online events this term and we will also be sharing some from other Counties that your Section can get involved in too. All of these can be found below.
Large events are a brilliant part of Scouting, that give young people and adults the chance to try new activities, meet new people and make memories.
For this challenge we want you to attend one of these large events.
This could be run by your District, Humberside County, another District or County or even in another Country!
We want all our young people to know that they are part of the family that is Scouting which stretches far beyond their own Group.
Ask your District Team what events are happening in 2020 and have a look at the County Events Calendar to see what we are doing too.
