Programme Spark

Camp blankets are a long tradition in Scouting, often worn like ponchos around campfires to keep warm. 

Leaders and young people then sew badges on to them to show their time in Scouting. These could be badges from previous Sections they were in, Scouting locations they have visited or any other badges they wish.

For this Spark you need to start a camp blanket with your Section. It should show the places you have visited and activities you have taken part in. You could make it a smaller version for your Section's mascot, or human sized! Individuals could also start one of their own at the same time.

Take it in turns to sew the badges on over the year.
