Fells Marathon

The 39th Fells Marathon will be in a completely new area - The Forest of Bowland. We will be based at the West Lanchashire Scouts, Waddecar Activity Centre ,

The event is open to both Scouts (10yrs-14yrs) and Explorer Scouts (14yrs-18yrs) with separate routes for each age group. The scouts walk 30km and explorers 43km over the two days, with a remote camp at the end of Saturday.

For 2014 the event is to be set in new wild and challenging terrain, but the main challenge comes in navigation and route finding skills along with working as a team, so training and preparation will definitely be needed at troop nights.

We are now taking entries which are limited to 35 teams. First come first served - receipt of entry fee will secure your place.
