Beaver Fun Day

A great opportunity for Beaver Scouts to come and join in with Beavers from across the County taking part in a fantastic day of fun and adventure.  The day will include: Bouncy Castles, Trampolines, Craft, a Camp Fire and a great number of other games and activities. Most importantly, there will be a great opportunity to have some fun!

Theme:

The World. Each District has been allocated a country from around the world.

What's included?

The cost of £6.00 per Beaver Scout includes a badge which can be worn on their uniform as an occasional badge for 1 year.

Leaders can attend the event free of charge and can purchase a badge for £1.00 if required (please place order in advance on reply slip)

What do young people need to bring?

Full Beaver Uniform (needs to be worn)

Suitable clothing to keep warm and dry (as much as we try, we can't promise good weather!)

Packed lunch

Carrier bag with young person's name on to keep crafts safe.

Refreshments

Drinks will be available and provided throughout the day

What will the Beavers attending achieve?

Apart from having a great day of fun, by the end of the day the Beavers will have completed all the requirements for the new International Activity badge. It will be the leaders responsibility to provide these badges

Booking Deadline

Money and numbers need to be in by 24th May. Cheques need to be made payable to Humberside Scouts.

Other Useful Information

Each District needs to have:

• a large flag of their country with the name of the flag, name of the youngest scout section, the promise and uniform
• to do a greeting for their country for the opening ceremony
• a gazebo for their base and one for the beavers

A responsible adult must be available to supervise all groups of beavers.

Parking and drop off and pick up will be in Guide Acres, next to Raywell.
