Archery Instructor Training and Assessment Course

Times

Saturday 09:45 – 16.30

Sunday 09:45 – 16.30

Please arrive promptly.

Candidates must attend the full weekend.

Format:

Day 1 and the first part of Day 2

Archery theory and practice

Latter part of Day 2

Mock assessment for those who reach the required standard

Equipment needed

Notebook and pen.

Archery equipment will be provided

Dress

Non – uniform.

No baggy clothing

Course is partly indoor and partly outdoor.

Suitable outdoor wear and footwear and change of footwear for indoors

Food

Drinks and biscuits will be provided.

Bring packed lunch for Saturday and Sunday

Preparation

Read scout association rules and factsheets for archery

Cost

£20.00

All participants will receive a training manual.

Please note that non attenders will still be invoiced

Permit Application

Following training candidates will be required to arrange with an assessor a date to book and run an archery session where full assessment will be carried out.
