We are taking Explorers and Network to Monopoly Run Live in March 2024!
Welcome to the country’s largest Monopoly themed event for Scouts and Guides, using the real streets of London as your game board!
You can set up your own teams within your Explorer Unit or Network and we will sort out the rest.
For Explorers, the cost of £85 per person includes:
- Travel down to London from Raywell on the Friday night and back again on Sunday,
- Accommodation for the weekend in Dulwich,
- Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday morning,
- A meal out in London on the Saturday night,
- Entry fees for the event (this includes a badge!)
Explorers will need to bring:
- Packed lunches or money to buy food on Saturday and Sunday
- Travel cards for London or a contactless card to use on the Underground (Max £10 per day)
The full kit list and travel details will be on the website closer to the event. For now, Explorer Units will need to sort out their teams - Minimum team of 3 and maximum team of 7 - and submit the booking form listed below. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Places are not confirmed until payment has been made. Leaders are not needed for this event but we are on the lookout for drivers! The Humberside Events Team will be around London during the event and will regularly check in with the teams.
Explorers - We will contact the Leader in Charge listed on the booking form and all correspondence will go through them. We will need a £25 deposit per Explorer with the balance of £60 due on 15th February.
Network Members - if you make your own way down to London, the cost is £35 and includes entry fees, breakfasts and accommodation in Dulwich. If you would like transport in the minibuses with County, the cost is £65. You will need a DBS to stay in the accommodation. If you currently do not have one, please get in touch with events@humbersidescouts.org.uk as soon as possible and we will sort this for you before the event.
