Opportunities for adult volunteers

Opportunities for adult volunteers

At Humberside Scouts, there is a whole range of different volunteering opportunities for adult volunteers available to you through Scouting.

As long as you're over 18, you can help out and become one of our leaders, managers, trustees, instructors, media and communications people, promoters, administrators, training managers with even more opportunities to help the Scouting program.

If you're curious about becoming an adult volunteer for Humberside Scouts, please know that this isn't a job application and you certainly don’t have to be an adventurer like Bear Grylls to get involved with Scouting. In fact not many of our volunteers are! People get involved for many reasons.

For example, as well as gaining externally recognised skills and having a fun time making new friends and learning new things, Scouting also offers a unique chance to build on personal skills, like teamwork, confidence and leadership.

Ready to inspire a generation of young people to experience fun, friendship and real adventure? The opportunities to volunteer with us are flexible. Do you have good first aid knowledge? Are you a whizz with numbers? Or maybe you're handy in the kitchen? Naturally a DIY whizz? We all have useful skills and you can volunteer and help in many ways.

If you don't have a lot of free time to spend at Scouts, you're actually just what we need. Whatever your skills, experience and interests, we can find a role for you.

Fill in our quick, simple form here to start your volunteering journey.
