JOTA/JOTI Weekend

7pm Friday 17th -
1pm Sunday 19th, October 2025

Meet Scouts from around the world at this exciting JOTA/JOTI weekend

Something new for 2025!  We are running our first JOTA/JOTI event as a County Event!

Jamboree-On-The-Internet (JOTI) & Jamboree-On-The-Air (JOTA) is an official international event of the World Organization of the Scout Movement (WOSM).  JOTI & JOTA is a youth programme event intended for young people in Scouting of all ages.

The purpose of JOTI & JOTA is to enable and encourage Scouts around the world to communicate with one another by means of amateur radio and the internet, providing a fun and educational Scouting experience and promoting their sense of belonging to a worldwide Scout Movement.

We will have activities all weekend and some activities will take place simultaneously all around the world during this weekend. Plus there is a new badge!

Meet Scouts from Around the World 🌍

Looking to connect with fellow Scouts across the globe?

Here are three ways to meet and engage with other participants during JOTA-JOTI:

  • Scout Group Directory: Search by name or country to find registered Scout groups. The directory provides details like group name, NSO, location, and contact information.
  • Chatrooms: Join moderated chat rooms to talk with Scouts worldwide. Connect over various topics through Rocket.Chat or ScoutLink.
  • Group Video Calls: Experience virtual meetings with Scout groups globally, sharing adventures and exploring different Scouting cultures.

What can you expect?

  • Squirrels can book in for an hour slot on the Saturday between 9am and 5pm. This is just for the JOTA/JOTI activities, we have other activities on site so you can work around your one hour JOTA/JOTI slot and make it a 4 hour event in total.
  • Beavers and Cubs can book in for a 2 hour slot JOTA/JOTI on the Saturday, and do all the other activities on site to make it a 6 hour event in total.
  • Scouts, Explorers, and Network members have the option of booking in for a 3 hour JOTA/JOTI slot on the Saturday or Sunday and then taking part in the site activities OR camping over from Friday night until Sunday. Sections camping will need to sort their own catering and evening activities.
  • All sections can also enjoy activities available during the day such as:
    • Climbing wall
    • Archery
    • Rifle shooting
