Event - Alton Towers - Scarefest 2025

Humberside Scouts are going on their annual trip to Alton Towers Scarefest this October!

Alton Towers will be open from 10:00 until 21:00, allowing the Scouts, Explorers, and Network to experience all the rides in the dark alongside all the ghosts and ghouls floating around the theme park!

Sections that can attend:

• Scouts (must attend with, and stay with Leaders)
• Explorers
• Network
• Adult Volunteers

Booking Information: We only have 80 spaces available, and they are allocated on a first come, first served basis.

We will share the OSM event with your group until the point that spaces are full, then we will operate a reserve list. Please let us know on the form if you do not use OSM, and we will be in touch.

As soon as your booking is confirmed via an email, you will have 10 days to pay after receiving your invoice. Since this is considered an event day for Alton Towers, we purchase each ticket once payment has been made.

This is the rough plan of pick up times and places, and may be subject to change depending on numbers and locations:

7am – School Lane coach car park, School Lane, Beverley, HU17 0AJ
7:30am – Humber Bridge Car Park, Ferriby Road, Hessle, HU13 0JG
8:00am – Gallows Wood Services, Melton Road, Barnetby le Wold, Barnetby, DN38 6DW

We will be leaving Alton Towers when the park closes at 10:30pm.

Drop off points will be:

12:30am – Gallows Wood Services, Melton Road, Barnetby le Wold, Barnetby, DN38 6DW
01:00am – Humber Bridge Car Park, Ferriby Road, Hessle, HU13 0JG
01:30am – School Lane coach car park, School Lane, Beverley, HU17 0AJ

We recommend booking as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Everyone attending will need to have a ticket to enter the park.

Important

It is your responsibility to ensure you meet the height requirements for the rides at Alton Towers. We recommend checking the ride height information before booking. If the park denies you entry to any ride due to not meeting the height requirements, we cannot change or refund your ticket. You must be comfortably tall enough to go on the rides at Alton Towers.

Food and Transport

Everyone will need a packed lunch and a packed evening meal, or bring money to buy food from one of the many food vendors in the park. Please not that this is not included in the cost.

We will have three pick up points - Beverley, Hessle, and Barnetby. We will send out a form asking for your desired pick up closer to the event.
