i.MOVEit North East

The Scout Association has developed a new approach to the development of talent management for adult volunteers known as the Future Leaders Strategy.
A key part of this strategy focuses on the development of young adults between the ages of 18 and 25 years of age utilising the Action Focused Approach (AFA). The AFA utilises action on a local issue of concern, to develop leadership skills, and provide an opportunity for appropriate talent management of the individual.
On the 26th February - 28th February 2016 the North East Region will be running their own version of the Action Focused Approach called i.MOVEit NE based on Community Impact in York. This will be followed by a 6 month project where you will be supported by a mentor. To apply please click here or download the flyer below.
This is your chance to gain skills and undertake a Leadership project to enhance and enable your Scouting unlocking the potential for future roles.
The event will involve a weekend of core learning delivered by a team of experts in their respective fields. This will be followed by a 6 month action focused project on community impact.
Applications close at midnight on 3 January
