2016 Sailing Dates

Humberside Scouts Water Activities Team can now announce this years Sailing Taster Session dates for Welton Waters Sailing Club. Cub, Scout and Explorers sections are available on the following dates 

• 11 June
• 2 July
• 16 July
• 23 July
• 10 September
• 24 September

The days offer a taster sailing experience for the above three sections for up to 10 young people. Younger members can learn to crew a sailing dinghy with an experienced, and Scout authorised instructor, at the helm.

The days run from 10:00 - 16:00 and the cost is £150 per session (for the ten people).

Older members can learn to crew as above and also learn to sail on their own in one of our smaller “Mirror” class dinghies.  Sessions are all on Saturdays and are on a first come first served basis.
