Programme Spark

Create an alternative poppy to lay at your Remembrance Day Parade. 

Wash and dry medium sized rocks. Paint or draw onto these rocks poppy and Remembrance Day inspired designs. Once dry, varnish these to ensure they are waterproof and can withstand wind and rain.

Take these to your local Remembrance Day Parade and lay them at the memorial along with your wreaths. They could remain there throughout the year.

Scouts and Explorers could think about other images besides poppies that symbolise Remembrance Day.
